What next, dear Lord?

Have you ever felt like everything is going wrong?  Well, it has been one of those times for a year now for the Day family.

They began construction of their new dream home in July 2011.  Now a year later, it is still not completed.  Because of the housing crisis sitaution, the lenders no longer finance homes already in progress the homeowner has financed him or herself from using hard earned savings.

Bob works his life away and Gina struggles amidst life and death health issues to maintain the farm.  Her writing has been put on hold because of all the demands building a home gives as obstacle courses, though she does have plans to attend and teach in a private setting this fall in Italy her writing "heartspun" style because it is a free trip donated by her friends, Linda and Craig Allen.

The home is up with its roof on and because of politics, she may have to continue to "camp out" on their beloved farm.  She reports she loves the wildlife and gets many opportunities to view a large assortment of critters, but the weather is horrendous on her.  She is sick of bugs, leaks, and redneck showers.

Tennessee has been suffering from a severe drought, so the garden and new saplings have also suffered.  Bambi has a new baby and the coyotes must be hungry; they stroll around in the day time.

I am certain the Day's feel overwhelmed and Gina is sure to be distraught having to live on the land and can not move into their home; especially since it is on top of the hill near her.  Until they figure out how God has planned the rest of this out, they are in stall.  $200,000.00 is a drop in the bucket for a good home and they have worked especially hard all their lives.  To just allow the home to sit in its current mode is so depressing.

If any of you readers and fans have suggestions, please share them.

Until next time,
